After trying to start the car 20-30 times, it finally starts normally. The problem occurs only when starting from cold, i.e. the next morning after stopping, the problem repeats.

Sep 8, 2019 · The reason your Ford Mondeo shakes at idle but smooths out when accelerating is that the engine is spinning faster, which smooths out any misfires. If a motor mount is causing the problem, once you put the car into gear, the torque from the engine will hold it against the frame. It can be very jarring when your Ford Mondeo shakes when idle.
